Raising a neurospicy kid can be overwhelming, especially when you are raising an army of strong willed independent yet sensory adverse kids. Girasol understands that family outings dont come as often as we would like. We provide family friendly events that every one can enjoy. You can sign up under our events tab for scheduled event dates.

These events are variable on the pricing due to the event type and family size. Our fees provide qualified staff and volunteers as well as snacks and raffles. Proceeds also go towards our community resource centers in providing free events for underprivileged families.

For moms to reconnect, reflect and give back.

Being a mom is tough, raising a neurospicy child is even tougher. Come hang out with moms who just “Get it”. Our monthly coffee meet ups will have you learning how to advocate for yourself, find your group of mom friends and give you a chance to vent in a healthy space. Join a mom group whose mission is to ensure our children grow in an inclusive and safe space for all!

Monthly registration of $25, provides you with support, resources and monthly activities. Registration fees will provide support to our underprivileged families and the free events we host at community resource centers.

Who doesn’t love a good competitive game of lotería while enjoing some great food and beverages. Girasol is all about strengthening family values. This fundraising event provides individuals with the opportunity to win fun prizes, listen to some good music and create new family memories.

Registration fee’s will be allocated for staff, volunteers, raffle prizes, food and drinks. As well as supporting local programs such as Back 2 School and Community Resource Programs.

Our newest outreach program geared through supporting our neurodivergent kids age 9-12, in navigating the world around them. Kids will be paired up to assist our neurodivergent students to be able to learn social skills, interpersonal and entrepreneurial skills.

Interested in learning on how to best support your child at home? Whether is behaviorally, Social emotional, Tutoring or simply learning what resources are available, Girasol understand that in order for our kids to be successful, they have to have support all around.

Girasol teams with the Buckeye Crisis Team along with other nonprofits to be able to provide resources to our families who need resources, assistance and support.

From a mom of a stubborn autistic child, I can attest that my son only ate pizza, chicken nuggets and French fries for the first three years of his life! Our Neuorspicy kids have a set food pallet and sometimes that does not work within our budget. Girasol wants to be able to provide nutritious meals but also be able to provide sensory safe foods, that way our kids can continue to eat a safe meal daily.
